I have been recapping our recent trip to Disney World this week. You can follow along and read about Day 1 HERE and Day 2 HERE
Day 3 We went to Animal Kingdom. I loved the shirts we made for this day. They were so cute! Like I said before we took FULL ADVANTAGE of the photo opps ;) #notsorryfordocumentingmemories #weloveit It's also super fun to have the photographers tell you pose a certain way then they add fun characters in the picture as well. Surprise!!
After our picture taking at the beginning of the day we were ready to ride some rides! We had fast passes for DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. Sloane couldn't ride Everest so we took advantage of the rider swap and I got to ride for the first time.
And Sis in the gift shop while we took turns on the ride...
We stopped for lunch at the Pizzaafari The food was GREAT but we did have a wait a little bit. Being honest, that's totally unlike Disney and they apologized 1,000 times. Once we took the first bite it was worth the wait! LOL!
After lunch the littles and the Daddies walked over the Boneyard area. It was closed. ;( Then they tried to ride TriceraTop Spin and it went around one time. They had to hop off. Lastly they hit up the Fossil Fun Games where they played carnival like games themed Dino. It's always a fun time...#untilsomeonedoesntwin #ihatecarnivalgames #starbucksformeplease
Shelly, Ariel, and I made our daily Starbucks run...
After Starbucks and the last few rides we wanted to spend some time in Disney Springs (used to be known as Downtown Disney). We took 2 different buses and got to see some of the other resorts we hadn't ever seen. This is how they stayed busy...
We kinda all separated and shopped in lots of different stores. There are lots of the same stores each time we go but there are some new ones this time as well. Disney overload FOR SURE!
Dinner the 3rd day was one of my favorite dinners of the trip. We had dinner last time at the Cinderella's castle so we wanted to try something different but still wanted a chance to meet the princesses. We enjoyed Akershus Royal Banquet.
We ended the evening with a fun swimming in the sand bottom pools, lazy river, and rode the slides!
(while Shelly and I took pictures)
*the weather could not have been better- it was low to mid 80's during the day and then cooled off in the evening - the pool was heated so it was perfect...until I asked them get out and pose for pictures ;)
