Friday after dismissal we grabbed lunch at a fun restaurant near school that we don't visit often. The food is GREAT and they were so well behaved. It's always fun to leave and feel like you all enjoyed each others company and that Mark and I actually finished conversations. ;) #parentlife
After lunch we ran a few errands before heading home for the afternoon. Friday night we got to go watch Caroline play indoor soccer. It's always fun to watch the crazy antics of 4-5 yr. old soccer! LOL! After the game we had dinner at Fuzzy Taco's. It's one of our family favorites but the Dumey's hadn't been yet. It was CRAZY packed but we had good company so the evening went well. ;) By the time dinner was over EVERYONE was ready for bed.
Saturday morning we ran around grocery shopping. Mark met some old friends at a restaurant to watch a little college basketball while I unloaded groceries and took Wyatt for a haircut. After we finished we all went to the mall. We let the kids pick a Valentine surprise!! Wyatt chose a new Star Wars lego and Sis picked a new Build a Bear. We had so much fun together!
We left the mall and came home just in time for dinner. They all built Legos while I prepared it. After dinner we enjoyed our fun "marshmallow mania" evening!!! It was SO MUCH FUN!!! I have a post coming Wednesday about all the fun actives, thanks to Momfessionals.
We took a selfie when we got to church. The kids wanted to see the snowflakes in their hair. Daddy was parking the car so we took a second to snap the picture. Wyatt looks like a little boy here...the 5 year old is looking way to big lately.
After church it was lunch and games!! We played a new game called "sneaky snacky squirrel." I highly recommend it. We had so much fun playing together!! We played 123,343,764 times before Mark and I let Wyatt and Sloane start playing by themselves.
While preparing dinner we realized we needed foil to be able to bake the ribs so he ran to the grocery store. While he was gone I took the opportunity to send him this lovely picture in a text message with a fun little message from me. ;) We didn't purchase each other anything this year as we decided our new kitchen floor was a mutual gift. I still laugh out-load looking at this picture but afterall he is still my "main squeeze" after 11 years of celebrating Valentine's together!
After dinner and getting the kids to bed (holla for 7:10pm) we settled on the couch with our adult drinks and watched.....our adult show!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
We had such a great weekend together as a family! It's so nice to get the 3 day weekends every weekend as a family. Wyatt and Sloane are off school today so we get to continue the holiday weekend one more day!! We are loving where the kids are right now and how much fun they are...if only they would stay little forever!!!
