A few weeks I saw saw the cutest little idea on Pinterest. (I know, surprising right?!!?!) Most of the time I pin something and then nothing ever comes of it...When I saw these though I knew it would be super easy. There was no way it could enter into the "pinterest fail" category. Ha ha!
I have been subbing a lot but this coming week I have all 4 days off. It's going to be a much needed break and time spent with my kids! I am looking forward to some playdates as well as some "me time" too!
This past weekend I was able to check a few things off my list and creating these fun fall gifts was one of them. I didn't have to think twice about who would love these...TEACHERS duh! Coming from a past classroom teacher there doesn't have to be a "real" reason to give your child's teacher a gift. Let's be honest...we can't even begin to fathom what they do each day!
When finished each of them cost $2.10 THAT'S A STEAL!!!! What a great inexpensive but super cute little fall gift, right!?!? I found a 12 pack of the little mason jars for less than $7 at Walmart. I bought the bagged apples from Schnucks and they are on sale this week for $1.99 a bag! A container of caramel filled about 2.5 of these jars. The bags are cookie/treat bags and tied with some burlap sting! DONE! ;) Sealed with a little note...and you have made someone's day!!!
