Day 2, Friday....little Loaney Lou's THIRD B-day...we had an early morning phone call from cousin's saying they were heading to Urgent Care when it opened. We had controlled Sloane's fever all night so she was READY to go. We started singing "Happy Birthday" and she stopped us and said, "it's not my real burfday until we are IN Disney." Ok then?!?!? We got dressed and headed to Magic Kingdom as a family. (praying the rest of the crew would be able to meet up SOON)
We were at the gates early enough to see the opening ceremony. Not gonna lie, I cried. Before you laugh...if you haven't been to Disney and/or the opening of a park each morning you can't even begin to judge. There were so many emotions because it was her b-day then adding this trip, blah blah blah. It was happy tears!
We didn't have a FastPass to see Elsa and Anna so we had to
After finishing up with Else and Anna we rode the carousel and teacups while we waited for our FastPass time for 7 Dwarfs. The kids love the teacups...me, not so much! It took everything I had to ride. ;/
We thought we were all going to be able to ride the 7 dwarfs but Sis got stopped at the entry of the cart. ;( She was pretty upset until a little girl got off that was screaming and crying...she didn't care to ride anymore. We did rider swap again for this one so Mark and I both were able to ride with Wyatt. He LOVED it! (He says it's his second favorite ride.)
After lunch the cousins were able to meet up with us! It was just in time for our reservations at Bibbidi and the Pirates's League. They were all so excited...
Thanks to Aunt Shelly and "Aunt" Kyle Sis was able to experience being treating like a real Disney princess.
After playing dress up we had a FastPass to Big Thunder Mountain. Sloane was asleep in the stroller before we even made it back to the boys. She wasn't really feeling well at this point and just wanted to sleep. ;( We used rider swap again so I could ride with Buddy. We were so lucky that he had NO FEAR when it came to the rides. This totally wasn't the case last time we were there! ;/
After Big Thunder we rode Buzz Lightyear. Wyatt got his souvenir laser shooter that he wanted really bad. This was a replacement purchase so he was so relieved when he could add it back into his collection of Toy Story toys. Phew!
Then....it was time for dinner! Aunt Shelly made reservations at The Royal Table!!! Sis was eating at her castle, on her REAL b-day, dressed as Cinderella, on the day the new Cinderella movie came out. She isn't spoiled at all. ;)
All the princesses came around to our table. The signed their books and we got to take pictures. They were all so cute with them. I think they had their favorites...including Mark. LOL!
The birthday girl...she didn't want to eat the icing, just the cake part! She was so proud she got to blow out a candle!
No words for this picture...
