Seriously...FOUR years old?!!?!? Tomorrow when we wake up we will have a 4 year old...I can't even believe it. There are more emotions that fill my heart, chest, and throat than I even want to being to talk about tonight but...I do want to look back and remember a few things Wyatt has been talking about regarding his b-day tomorrow.

-When asked what he is getting for his b-day his responce was "everything I want." -not sure what to think about that one

-While driving in the car he mentions pretty random that "tomorrow's tomorrow I am changing 4 so I can play baseball now."

-He wants roller skates for his b-day.

-When I asked him what he wanted to eat he said "long noodles at the place that I can walk to get my cake pop after I eat." (That would be the Panda Express next door to Starbucks ;)

- He also mentioned he wants to go up in the arch and eat a cookie cake at dinner time with hulk on it. He isn't even into Hulk but after talking to with the Dierbergh's lady he decided on Nemo. ;)

Insta Dump...

It's been a while since I have done a "insta dump" from the random daily picture I take on my phone. One of the awesome benefits of this blog is I have daily pictures of the kids. The random stuff we do that makes up a normal day is documented as well as the "bigger" events. I love to look back and remember the small normal days as well as the BIG ones! ;)

There are days I wonder if the kids really like to be together and then I walk into the living room and see this...LOVE IT!

It's becoming a pretty regular thing for us to eat at McAllister's after church on Sundays. The kids love it and love it even more when their cousin's join us! This is one of my new favorite pictures! They are all looking and all smiling...cute smiles!!! ;)

I don't think I have blogged much about this girl and her LOVE for dance. It's incredible...and so is a sock bun!

I caught her in the act of climbing...and yes, I took a picture before making her get down. Ha ha!

I know I haven't posted about this...about this BIG girl bed and the new bedtime routine at our's coming soon but I have to be able to talk about it first.

Thanks to the heated pool we have already had our first swim of the season! The kids had a blast and I can't wait for MANY more pools days this summer!

Memorial Day 2014

We spent yesterday together. It was so nice to be back with my little family! It was less than 48 hours but I missed them so much! We started the morning with a quick donut run and grabbed a few things for a BBQ we were attending later in the day.

After the donut run we finished getting ready at home before making a visit to see Ryder. In 2010 May 30th was Memorial even though it isn't the boys b-day it's still a day we think about Ryder, not that we don't think of him everyday. It was a great way to help explain to Wyatt what the meaning of Memorial Day actually is. Being honest, he probably has a better understanding than a lot of adults.

After finishing up at the cemetery we went to the Dumey's house!  We love the annual BBQ...always a GREAT time! This year was no different!

It rained on and off as well as a few moments of SUPER hott sunshine! In my opinion it was perfect!  They found a worm, played in the rain, ate a lot of cake but HAD so much fun!!

Happy Memorial Day 2014

A quick trip...

Friday night a dear ol'friend and I were dropped off at the airport. We headed to FL attend a wedding of one of our very best friends from FOREVER ago! We arrived in time to fall asleep at 2:30am Sat. morning. After a few hours of sleep we had breakfast with the groom and headed to the beach...

After a few hours in the sun we went back to condo and got ourselves ready for the wedding. There was transportation to and from the wedding venue so we had one less thing to worry about. ;) The wedding was outside but BEAUTIFUL!

Liz, Justin, and I with his new bride Lauryn...

The venue was on St. George Island and was so pretty. The reception was outside as well. Mark stayed back in MO with the kids for the weekend and they had a blast as well! ;) The reception was over by 10pm and we headed back to the resort!

My parent's spent the week in FL as well but then finished their vacation at the wedding! We had a blast together as we celebrated the wedding but also THEIR wedding day! 34 years...what an amazing example of LOVE they have been to me! I enjoyed the time with them SO MUCH!

It was a FAST 48 hours but so worth it!! I had a quick getaway and enjoyed precious time with old friends. There is something to be said for FOREVER friends!!! Congrats Justin and Lauryn, what an amazing wedding weekend!

The LAST day...

Seriously people...this is it!!! Today is Wyatt's last day of preschool. This past school year has been one for "the books." He has grow so much over the last 9 months, it's crazy!!! We couldn't be more happy with his school and the decions we made to start him in preschool when we for learning!

Our dear baby boy...

Over this past year you have had so many ups and downs. When you started school in Aug. you had just turned 3 years old. You were shy, timid, and a mama's boy for sure!

We knew you were excited to learn and thrive from a structured environment but it took you a while to get used to it, like a long while. There were still tears in during drop off in November. During Christmas break it was as if a light switch went off and you were ready for school. You had no more tears! There were even days you came home and said you "ran around on the play ground" instead of standing next to the teacher.

Those first few months were tough on your mama's heart. It killed me to see you sad but I knew it was for good that you were at school. Sis missed you A LOT while you were there too! Secretly though I know she has enjoyed getting Mommy and Daddy to herself while you are gone.

This year you have made 3 good friends. (2 boys and a girl ;) You can write your name and it is readable when YOU want it to be. You can count to 15 (almost 20) and can recognize most of your letters. You DO NOT forget much we tell you and seem to surprise us everyday with the things you remember. You know all your colors and LOVE to draw and color pictures.

Wyatt, your heart is so big and you wear it on your sleeve. You live to please! You had/have your teachers aid wrapped around your finger. I know she will always be someone special to you.

We can't wait to enjoy this Summer! When talking about the "end of school" you thought it meant you were finished with school FOREVER...if only you knew. Ha ha!

You truly are the best little boy around and I am so happy God picked me to be your Mama!!! Daddy and I are so happy with everything you have accomplished this school year. Keep up the good work, we love you!!

Love you Jelly toes!

Mother's Day 2014

It's been a few days since Mother's Day but I am just know getting to post pictures...and we really didn't take many pictures. It was a great day! We went to church in the am and then headed to our usual lunch at McAllister’s. ;)

After lunch we headed to the nursing home to visit Mark's g-ma. The kids took her flowers and we then headed to Mark's mom to give her flowers as well. She was pretty sick so we pretty much left them on the doorstep.

We came home and played outside! The sunshine was amazing! Mark put together a new grill and we enjoyed a great dinner of sliders ( cooked on the new grill) and fresh grilled veggies!

After chatting with Eeise on the phone we finished our day! It was great and I loved every second! Happy Mother's Day 2014!

Graduation Day

A few nights ago we celebrated our nephew...Kindergarten graduation!!! Such a BIG boy! He is such a handsome little boy who Wyatt looks up to so much!

They had a little program and ceremony. Even thought it was past the kids bedtime they stayed pretty content watching him on stage! It was so cute!

We had a few mins. before it started so Wyatt and I had a "selfie" photo opportunity. ;) He is seriously growing up before my eyes...his 4th b-day is fast approaching us...I can't even talk about it!

And this girl...too bad she looks just like her brother...who looks just like her Daddy...;) She is growing up fast as well. She is a mess...and I have no words for her either!

Today we celebrate Mothers...

Today we celebrate Mother', I don't even know where to begin. I am one blessed woman when it comes to talking about mothers. I have an amazing mom as well amazing MIL! They both have taught me so much about being a mother to my own children.

The awesome thing about these 2 women is they not only have helped guide me through motherhood but they have lead by example. The giving hearts God gave each of them is astounding. The live to give and bless others. The "acts of service" they do for others, that sometime goes unnoticed or unmentioned by others, is amazing!

I pray I can be as good as a mother, wife, and friend as these 2 women have been for me! Thanks!!!

Backyard fun...

This past we had a few REALLY warm days. I am pretty spoiled when it comes to having backyard pools at our disposable BUT...since my parent's live 2 hours away and my in-laws pool isn't ready we had to do our best for a time...

So far it's the best $20 I have spent in a LONG time. We have already spent LOTS of time outside and the kids are loving it! Wyatt plays not only in the pool but has a fun dirt pile (we finally had a root/tree stump cut up) so he LOVES to play in it. He is such a boy! ;) He has also learned the art of making mud pies, thanks to his mama.

BRING on the sunshine and summer time! YAHOO!!!!!
