Memorial Day

Even though Wyatt and Ryder's birthday isn't on Memorial Day this year...this day is still super close to our hearts. In 2010 I gave birth Memorial Day weekend. In 2011 their b-day actually fell on Memorial Day. Today is a day to remember....
As you'll enjoy your BBQ's remember all who lost their lives for our country.

Wedding Shower & GREAT G-ma

While we were in Jackson a childhood friend had a wedding shower. Our families are super close and she is getting married in July. Lindsey's sister, Whitney, and are close in age. She is one of those friends I can not talk to for a while and as soon as we are together it's like we have talked just hours before. True friends for sure! Anyway...the "mom's/Bible Study" always gives all the showers. They have throw so many showers! It was beautiful, as always.

My mom made this fruit tower.....;)

The Bride to be and me!
Lindsey with her sister Whitney opening gifts ;)

My g-ma also came to visit while I was at home. She loves holding babies! I think she could seriously just sit and hold Sloane ALL day long! Such an amazing GREAT G-ma...

And for our before dinner entertainment...Buddy was riding a horse acting like Woody-swinging his hat "at" in the air!

Sweet summer time!

We have been busy, busy, busy, but a good busy! Last weekend Mark took his last and final set of boards for Chiropractic school. We couldn't be more excited for him. His August graduation will be here before we know it! Since he was taking/studying for boards I took the kids to my parent's to stay a few days. Mark wasn't home much because he was doing so much studying so instead of hanging out alone we loaded up and headed South. ;) We had a great time but stayed SUPER busy while we were there. I have so many pictures I am going to have to blog multiple posts.

*My parent's have a big swing set and Wyatt LOVES it. Each time we are there he seems to be a bit more daring. ;/  He loves to swing! Aunt Erin is by far his favorite swinging buddy.

Aunt Erin was also hanging out with little sister.
Friday my brother showed up for lunch on a Vestpa. Buddy loves ANYTHING on two wheels. He loves it even more if Uncle Billy is riding on it!

 Look at that smile!!!

Just isn't right...

Earlier this week Wyatt and I were picking up a few groceries at Walmart. It's been a bit since we have taken Ryder flowers and they recently did a "clean up" and all the decor at the grave sites are thrown away. I had Wyatt pick something broke my heart but was so sweet at the same time. After professional help with how to discuss "our situation" with Wyatt we know how important it is for MARK & I to begin to involve Wyatt in certain things. As sad as it makes me want to remember these moments...

Kirsten's Graduation

Mark's sister graduated from Saint Louis University today. She is in the OT masters program so she has another year to complete the Master's but today was the 4 year undergrad "mark." She is such a focused student! (Just like her brother) My parent's had picked up Wyatt the day before so we didn't have to worry about getting a sitter. There is no way he would have watch from the nosebleed section in an area for 2 hrs. Sloane slept in the beginning but then was a little fussy toward the end but not to bad! Oh well!!
Waiting for it to start...

Kirsten and my In-laws

Kirsten and Kurt (her boyfriend)

Us with the graduate...;)

After graduation we went out to lunch at a nice Italian restaurant. Mark and I took forever to decide what to get her. What do you get someone who has everything?!? (Ha, you know I am joking Kiki.) We finally decided on the ever popular charm bracelets...

We only had 1 charm and one is still on its way! It's a great gift we can continue to build on for her! What a fun day!!

As soon as it was all over Sloane and I headed with a full car down to Jackson. We are spending a few days down here to be out of Mark's way. He is taking his national Chiropractic boards this weekend and has been studying for weeks, but that's a post in itself! ;)

Fun in the sun

We have had super nice weather
here lately. Since my in-laws are amazing they heat their pool "just for Wyatt!" We have already spend some major time over there. Sometime Sloane wears her suit but usually stays inside...

Here little cover up...

Sloane and Buddy before leaving for our first swim of the season. Someone was super excited, someone else-not so much. You choose...

Fun in the sun...

2 months old

Sloane-baby have already been in our life for 8 weeks! 8 weeks, phew and we have survived. LOL! Your brother still loves you so much, just like your Daddy and I. You are still just a little thing though we know you are growing because if you are awake you are either eating or crying. Ha! You still wear NB clothes but you have started wearing 0-3 month sleepers because I think your toes were getting squished since you are so long. I would guess you are a little under 9 lbs. right now but we haven't had your check up yet. You LOVE being held!! You are doing an awesome job holding your head up and actually seem to like tummy time more than laying on your back. It was the opposite with your brother. We have been to Eesie and Poppie's house only once, Easter, but we are getting ready to go and stay for 4 days. You have already been to the zoo and have spent lots of time at Maw maw and Paw Paw's pool. (You usually sleep inside but we call it "swimming" since everyone else is in the water and you wear your CUTE suit.) We go to the Dr. June 2nd and we will have your real growth stats then...

Happy Mother's Day

Today was another busy Sunday! We took our monthly trip to IKEA on Saturday for business so Sunday continued as mostly business! We did manage to grab these for breakfast...

We have been really working on "cheeeezzzz" with Wyatt when trying to take pictures. Ha! His mouth is super weird looking in this picture.
Morning snuggles...

Since it was a Expedite weekend my parents were here and Mark's parents came to help unload yesterday morning. Wyatt and I had a little craft time Friday making gifts. ;)

We tried snapping a few pictures while being silly after nap time.

Finally we ended the day with some time at our favorite friends...

Cousin Time!

Last week Wyatt's cousin's were at Disney. We hadn't seen them in over a week so we had dinner (a.k.a. Take out Chinese) over at their house earlier this week. Wyatt was almost in tears he was SO excited when we pulled into his driveway. I love that he is starting to recognize places while driving in the car. So cute! After dinner we all went outside to play. It was a perfect night...

More than an hour of the fun was spent driving around in the power wheels. Wyatt rode with Ariel for a while then hopped in the Jeep with Cruz. It was so funny to watch them but it was also so weird to think someday those 2 boys will pull out of the driveway together in a REAL car. Yikes!!! They also enjoyed lemonade popsicles made by Aunt Shelly. -

Wyatt and Sloane both loved their souvenirs from Disney and we can't wait for October when we get to go!!!

Baby Dedication

Last Sunday was Sloane's baby dedication. (If you want to read about baby dedication Ashley explains it perfect, he dad is the pastor of the church where I grew up. We also had Wyatt dedicated when he was about 3 months old) We invited all our family to the church service and then back to the house for brunch. We have such great supporting family! Church was at 9AM...

(Yes, some of you may recognize our pastor...
he is Shawn Craig from Phillips, Craig, and Dean
We LOVE him!)
After church we headed back home for some food and fellowship. ;)
Our family!!!!

Mark's side of the family...

My side of the family...

Many other family members (and the Dumey's) came to support Sloane. It was such a great day!
