Wyatt's One Year Pictures (picture overload)

Wow...that would pretty much sum up these pictures that were taken for us last weekend. Thanks Brittany...you are great and truly have a gift. ;)

Before I post the pictures I need to give a little background. Some info. for new followers and some for regular readers:
1. It's almost been a year since we lost Ryder...Wyatt's twin...at birth.
2. My mom had bears made from a few of Ryder's blankets. The one in the picture is from his comforter set, Wyatt uses the matching comforter.
3. The tree we are sitting in front of is a tree in Forest Park planted in memory of Ryder. This was a gift from Mark's classmates at Logan. EXTREMELY thoughtful....
4. The pinwheel is something we have kinda created to be "ours." A family representation of Ryder. We have a pinwheel at the grave-site and will have them all throughout Wyatt's b-day party.

Those 4 points...just a few things to keep in mind as you see the pictures. To a stranger they are just cute pictures with fun ideas....to us the are a representation of our family. (Beware:picture overload...way to hard to choose just a few) Hope you ENJOY! ;)

If you'll wouldn't mind helping me out a bit...when/if you leave a comment could you help me out a bit in ordering a picture canvas? I bought a groupon a few weeks ago for a 16x20 (so not small) ;) and I don't know which picture to choose? A family one? Wyatt one? Cake one? A different one like the shoes? HELP PLEASE!?!?!? Thanks....

  1. These are precious! I love #13 and #14 for a canvas...the black and white one of Wyatt's face and then the colored one of his face with the pinwheel. Those are absolutely cute!!!!

  2. Love all the pictures! They are beautiful. I hope these next few days come with comfort for you all.

It depends on the canvas where you're going to put it...if its in the living room, I would do a family one (#5 or #6) or if it's going in Wyatt's room I love the one with him, the memorial tree, the pinwheel, and the bear. :)

  3. So this is my humble opinion - the one of the shoes is adorable and would look great on canvas my other two choices are #6 - the family but I would see if she could rotate it to be straight only because on canvas, hanging on the wall, I think it could do tricks on the eye. I love pictures taken from different angles but that large, not sure how it would look. Or, #12 - it is a perfect representation of both of your boys and would look wonderful on a canvas. If it were me? I would personally chose the family shot because it shows where you are right now. Than, of course, get tons of others to put in frames all over the house :-)

  4. I love the family one fifth from the bottom. It's my favorite. But I'm with Erica. If it's going to be a in the living room I would do a family one or if it is going to be Wyatt's room I like the one with him, the bear, and the pinwheel. These are really great by the way.

  6. Beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes!

I have three faves - the color one of you guys in front of Ryder's tree, the one of you guys walking away on the bridge, and the shoes.

  7. Eesie says the b&w family shot with colored pinwheel in front of the tree. Agree it needs to be straightened. #2 feet; #3 family shot from the back walking on bridge.

Praying for all of us as we look at these pictures and begin a new year that they bring us peace that transcends all understanding.

    Love,

    Mama

  12. Em - Those are breathtaking...seriously amazing. Whoever took those and came up with some of the ideas (like your feet on the bench)is SO GOOD. I loved them all...especially to see Wyatt playing with the pinwheel...such a special way to incorporate Ryder. I just loved them all so much.
