Heritage Farms

While we were visiting Jackson this weekend we had breakfast at a cute little place. It is called Heritage Farms. There is a little store in the front, a barn, and they serve food that has no hormones, no preservatives, all natural. They also sell all natural and organic foods in the store. Most organic items we buy you can't  tell a difference but we got some new mustard...ha...it seems every organic mustard smells like feet. We shall see what this one is like....
Fun morning....

Little Sister getting married?!?!!?

I stated in my post yesterday my sister had a Bridal shower last Saturday. It was beautiful. We are so blessed to have such close family friends that always make these occasions so special. Erin's color is eggplant and she is using sunflowers. She is getting married mid-October. :) Enjoy these photos!!!

Jam Packed!

It seems lately all people (including us) just complain about being busy. I am so tired of it. :( I want to slow down and cherish this time as a family SO MUCH. Mark and I have been working on staying on top of things around the house and our daily life so we stop feeling so rushed. We have both been trying to use our time wisely. Therefore....the blog kinda got stuck on the back burner last week. So sorry...I didn't blog the last week of 30 Day Blog Journal. Sorry ladies! Now...onto our wonderful family filled weekend!!!
Since this blog is somewhat of a journal for our family...I had to add this picture in the post. :) He really enjoys this but it really wore him out. Ha!

Even though Mark is on his "break" he has been at school studying for his boards about 6 hours a day.  When he finished Friday afternoon I had the car packed to head home to J-town. It was our nephew's 3rd b-day so we stopped at their house before we left town Friday for cake and ice cream.

(We didn't all plan to wear green, it just happened)

He loved all his presents!
We got to my parents about 10 pm :( Wyatt ate and he played for a bit but it was WAY past his bedtime! Saturday morning though...he slept until 7:40!!!! What a way to ring in the 13 week mark! I love this baby!
Saturday morning we went to breakfast as a family. It was so fun! We went to a place called Heritage Farms. So cute...I wish we had something like this close to where Mark and I live....not so much though. There is something to be said for small towns. (Heritage Farms will be a separate post later this week)

Saturday afternoon was my sister's bridal shower at church. It was beautiful! Here is a quick picture but this is also a post in itself later this week. :)

Sunday morning we went to church and headed back to St.Louis for our nieces FIRST soccer game. It was so cute! I think she had fun but when I told her good job she said "we losed." Ha!

(Wyatt's new thing is just hanging out with Daddy and Cousin Cruz on a blanket)

After the game Cruz had his big b-day pool party and Mark's parents, Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw! My camera died so I only got a few pictures. :(

What a great weekend full of family time. Happy Monday!

Vacation 2010 (long post)

We're back!!! We left last Thursday as a family for a short but MUCH needed family time. It was a blast! It's always so hard to come back to the real world after vacation. I guess that's what makes it a vacation, right? Mark took his last final Thursday and we were on the road by noon! We drove to Indianapolis, IN where we stayed until Saturday.

Friday morning we visited the World's Largest Children's Museum (no lie!) we went to the zoo in the afternoon.

We were tired after the long day of touring :) We rested for a bit at the hotel and then headed to Bucca di Beppo (sp?) for dinner! So fun....

Saturday morning we got up and traveled to Columbus, OH to visit the #1 Zoo in the nation!

It took us 2 days at the zoo to see everything. There was an amusement park and a waterpark we didn't even enter, duh! LOL! On our way home we had to make a few stops for Wyatt to eat and to strech our legs...we stopped back in Indy and did a "river walk" that we didn't have time for while we were there. We couldn't have asked for better weather.

We made so many memories!
