A bit of *early* Christmas

Mark, Wyatt, and I have been at my parents since Tuesday. I recently mentioned my mom's cousin who took his life earlier this week....the services were yesterday. Funerals are always tough but it's still really hard to sit at a funeral without my mind wandering back to just 6 months ago when we buried Ryder. It's still an open wound and sitting there brings all the thoughts back in. Throughout this entire situation we have been constantly reminded God is there. This is God's will. My mom woke up a few days ago and when to let the dogs out....this is the sky in the front of our house. God is good!!! They used this picture for the front of the program.

I want to switch gears and post about all the events of Wyatt's first Christmas. Despite sadness we have enjoyed being together as a family. We have enjoyed Wyatt's smiles and laughs so much!!
(he has been enjoyed playing with his Little People nativity the past few days...)

Haning out with Poppie....

Uncle Pete and Aunt Erin came home from Vegas Tuesday night....just in time to see their favorite nephew!

Christmas Day we always went to my grandma's house. Mark and I won't be here Christmas day so they had an early Christmas for us.
(Grandma with grandchildren and great-grandchild)
plus husbands....

Wyatt was actually fun to watch open gifts....

This present below was extra special...Uncle Billy wrapped it himself :)

Every year my brother, sister, cousin, and I  (small family I know) get to count and divide my g-ma's change from the year. We get to go home with a bag full of $$$......
