Pumpkin Carving

Growing up we carved pumpkins every year. We really didn't celebrate "Halloween" as much as we did fall. We attended a fall festival my church had and we did dress up...nothing to scary though! One year our family all dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters. HA! We always picked out our pumpkins one random day after school...the rule was "you can only get a pumpkin as big as you could carry to the car." What a great rule mom! By the time we could carry a big one it wasn't worth getting a huge one because of what it takes to clean it out..lol. Mark had never carved a pumpkin until he met me...so he join right in on the tradition.

This picture is from 2006
I didn't have a picture of us together from 2007 with our pumpkins...

 This is from 2007 too!
After we got married we moved the pumpkin carving location. We started carving them at Sam A Baker when we were all together. This is 2008.

None from 2009, I don't have any clue what happened. :(

2010: We carved again this year and Pete joined in on the fun! P.S. Mom bakes the seeds too...delicious!

 {if you didn't notice Mark has on the same hat from '06 and I have on the same shirt from '08...yikes}

  4. Hey Emily! I used www.picnik.com. You can use it for free or pay to have upgrades. I don't pay for it. You can upload up to 5 pictures in your library and then 'create' different things. I made that using a collage and picked just the 2 frame collage. I saved it and uploaded it like a normal picture. It's a fun website, neat to play around with. You will enjoy it with Wyatt's pictures. Right now they have fun Halloween things to put on pictures. :)
