Passing it on...."Putting Love into Action

One of my RLF Ashley posted this today. It touched me...she asked if we felt lead to post it on our own blogs. I did. If you feel the same please do. Thanks!

"Putting Love Into Action

God has been doing so many things in my life lately---I can't even express how much! It has been unbelievable to watch him work in my heart and life, as well as my husband's lately. Wow. I will share more as I feel comfortable!

Part of God being at work has been in my dear friend Lyndsie's life, as well as her husband Daniel's. They are absolutely THE sweetest couple, and their hearts are so in tune with listening to God's will and doing what He desires for them. When Lyndsie was 19, she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. She is currently cancer-free (praise the LORD!), but her battle left her unable to have children. This is a huge thing for Daniel and Lyndsie, because they both come from families of 8 and 9 children. Children ARE their hearts! They desire nothing more than to raise a godly family.

They are currently in the process of seeking God's will in the area of adoption. They feel led to adopt domestically, and right now they feel it's best to try and pursue a private adoption. If you have any connections (or know someone who does) to an expecting mother who is needing to look into adoption, please contact me!

At my suggestion, Daniel and Lyndsie have set up an adoption fund on their blog. They were hesitant to do this, because the LAST thing they want is to look like they're expecting people to give or contribute. However, I told Lyndsie that some people might not be called to adopt themselves, but they would love to contribute financially.

If many people contribute whatever amount they feel led to give, it would make a huge dent in the cost of Daniel and Lyndsie's homestudy, which is the step they are waiting to accomplish. Lyndsie DID NOT ask me to post about this---it just really is the desire of my heart that they are able to become parents.

If you feel led to donate to this beautiful cause, CLICK HERE and the Chip In box is in the right-hand sidebar. Thank you in advance for helping a wonderful, deserving couple bring home their baby! :)

  3. Mercy Ministries has a bit of a cheaper adoption process and they are AWESOME - your friend can check out www.mercyministries.org.
