31 Weeks and the 1st "Fuming Friday"

31 weeks...wow wow wow! I know I am posting this and it's already almost 32 but I want to have a record of the weeks so...here we go....

How far along? 31 weeks
How big are the babies? Squashes!
Best moment this week:Seeing them on the ultrasound (watching one yawn, precious)
Symptoms: I feel like I may pop. I don't know how I'm going to get bigger!
Movement: All the time!
Food cravings: No real cravings this week.
Genders: 2 boys
Milestones: The nursery is REALLY close to be finished....
Development: Babies are going through major brain and nerve development these days. Their irises now react to light, and all five senses are in working order. (They won't pick up anything from their noses until after birth, though -- smell is transferred through air, not amniotic fluid.)

Fun times!

Also for this post...."Fuming Friday." (I now have 3 different Friday post topics to I am going to be participating in so I thought I could do one kinda early. :) I might not do all 3 every week but this week I am going to try so....Enjoy!
Fuming Fridays

So here is how it goes: Post as much or as little about anything this week that you have fumed about....if you are still mad get it out...it will help...I promise you that!

So this is new...go check out more "Fuming Friday" posts at Chronicles of Neely

1. Our backyard...we are in the process of planing grass and have just finished putting up a nice fence but our dogs just found a way around/under it. Really...100 lbs dogs!?!!

2. Even though I am almost 32 weeks pregnant, I have tried to keep complaining to a minimum, but I just want to SLEEP comfortably. Sad thing is...even after I am no longer pregnant I WILL NOT be sleeping with twins at home. :( (It will be great though)

3. My floors at our house. Ah, they can't STAY clean EVER. I clean clean and clean but I turn around and there is dog hair and dust all over again. :( What am I ever going to do when the boys start to crawl.

Ah, only 3...not to bad, that does feel a little better. Thanks ladies for listening to me rant...well "fume." Happy early Friday!

  1. You look great! We have the same problem with dog hair and the floors. You think the hardwood is clean and poof there's a furball or dust, everywhere! Drives me insane!

  4. You look so great!! I remember being 32 weeks and just wondering every single day how it would all "happen". Sadly, I can also relate to the constant dirty floors. I clean them EVERYDAY, but we have a 1 year old pooch and it's non-stop cleaning up after him. The girls are just about to crawl and I worry about that too. How will I keep it clean enough for them?? Argh!! Hang in and sleep whenever you can - day or night!! :-)

  5. Sleeping does become a problem, but I can't imagine how it must be with 2 babies swimming around in there!
    Good luck with those pups!

  6. My cousin is preggers with twins, so this is like a little sneak preview!

Cute blog! Have you done a post about the nursery? I would love to see it. I've got a bad case of the baby fever, but we have a few years to go still.

  7. On Number 2: Even if your nursing, send the boys to the Nursery at night in the hospital. They can bring them to you to feed and take them back afterward. It's hard, but it will be the last good sleep you get for oh... 3-4 months :)
One Number 3: They find stuff on the floors that I didn't know about often (and they're just starting to scoot). And I definitely vacuum more often, but... it's no big deal :) As long as it's not big enough to choke them then I let it go. Unless it's my camera's usb cable or my phone charger or my husband's dirty socks... how are they finding that stuff?!
